Reflection #5

Just got back from a destructive night of rolling houses, now its time to contemplate on some calculus. This week went by pretty good again, we had a quiz on friday and i feel pretty confident, i did find for that section to be a little more tricky though. We learned how to derive the shortcut way

Example for x^2 bring over the two in front the x then subtraxt the exponent by one and you get 2x.

We also learned some new formulas that were also pretty easy. They are use the product rule and the quotient rule. You use the product rule when you are using multiplication. You use the quotient rule when when you are doing division.
-Product Rule:
Product Rule: ( copy 1st ) ( derivative of 2nd ) + ( copy 2nd ) ( derivative of 1st )
Quotient Rule: ( copy bottom ) ( derivative top ) – [( copy top ) ( derivative bottom )] / ( bottom ) ^2
Messing up on the algebra is the only mistake you should make.
