Reflection #4

**for this blog “A” will stand for Delta**
So for yet another blog I’ll need something to talk about…..hey I know, derivatives! Haha. Okay so takin derivatives isn’t too hard IF YOU KNOW ALGEBRA. Anyway to start, you have to plug in (x +A x) where ever you see an “x” in the function. So if f(x) = x + 4 then when you plug in you get (x + Ax) + 4. After that you subtract what you just plugged in by the original function itself….. so you would get:
( x + Ax ) + 4 – ( x + 4 ) and now you put this all over Ax.
Then you use algebra to solve it. ** Also, note that Ax = 0 but wait to plug that in til you cant simplify any more.
No lets finish workin this one out:
X + Ax + 4 – x – 4 / Ax………… 4’s and x’s cancel so you are left with Ax, which = 0 so the derivative = 0
