In math this semester, I have personally accomplished many different things in math. We have learned from Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 5 this semester. I think I did best when we learned logs in Chapter 5. I did struggle with things from Chapter 3 the most with relative minimums and maximums, also the critical numbers. With the midterm exam approaching, I feel a little more confident with stuff we have learned because we have practiced it all so much. Next semester, I will need to try to understand the work better, so I don't struggle as much. And I will get help before I get too far behind on my work.
In our calculus class this semester we learned a lot of things and I have accomplished a lot of different things personally. After coming into calculus I did 10 percent better this year than last I think that’s a goal itself. But we learned a lot this semester in chapter one two three and five. The thing that I think I struggled with the most is chapter three with the maximums and minimums. The thing that I think I understood the most was chapter one and two with the limits and derivatives. I do feel a little more confident about what I’m doing in math because I feel like I know what I’m doing. The things that I will try and do for next semester is study more for my test when I don’t get something or ask for more help.
This half of the year in calculus has been pretty good. It has had its ups and down, and the class is always trying hard at least. We accomplished alot of stuff for this semester. We have learned from Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 5 this semester. Finding derivatives, and using the product and quotient rule has been ver easy. What has been keeping calc is for me is that at least once a week we get together and go over homeowrk or studies guides that we do which normally ends up affecting our grade in a positive way. I had trouble with solving max and mins, but i blame myself for that because i did not work as hard as i could. To better next semester, i wont change really anything, ive been pretty succesful and making a high B in your class is good enough for me. I may just try to do more practice work and study just a little bit harder to better prepare myself.
I accomplished a lot so far in Calculus this year and I plan on getting even more done in this class. I made decent grades so far, I understood what I was doing from the beginning, and I can solve a basic derivative problem in less than 15 seconds. As of right now I am exempt from my midterm exam, and I have an 85 in the class right now. I understood exactly what we were learning on the first day of school as soon at it was taught, and derivatives are easy for me (that being the biggest thing in Calculus) which makes things pretty easy. Next semester I expect it to be a lot harder because that's usually how things go so I plan to take things very seriously and try to set my goal once again for being exempt from the quarter four exams.
At the beginning of the year we learned limits and i did not understand them at all. but taking so many tests on them and all the practice we have gotten on them has made me understand them completely. i think limits is what i have accomplished this semester and it does make me more confident that over time i will understand the other concepts just as well as i do limits.
i am not really sure what i will do different next semester. i just hope that i understand more of the things we learn. maybe i will ask more questions??
This semester I know I have learned and accomplished more than it feels like I did. While I am still havin a little trouble with the stuff we are doin right now, I understand so mcuh because everything is cumulus so we have to use the stuff from the last section in the next section. In doin that it caused us to master things from a few sections ago because it was becoming just the first steps to our new stuff. So if we don't master it then we're in trouble because we can even start the problem. The product, chain, and quotient rules are good examples of this. We thought they were hard when we were learning them but now we do them without even thinking about it. Next semester I think i'll study more. Instead of just doin homework problems and looking at the notes stating how to work the problem, I'll memorize the notebs better and maybe figure out 3 or 4 more on a test and get a better grade!
