Reflection #6

This week was a pretty busy week with homecoming, but I still managed to get my calc on. This week in calculus went pretty good. We had a test Friday that I hopefully did decent on. I knew most of the stuff, but the word problems caused me a little bit of confusion. If the whole test was find the derivative I would have had a party. Finding the derivative is extremely easy now. To solve it you do these formulas. The formula for a secant line is this m= f(c+deltax)- f(c)/ deltax. This is the secant slope lim f(x+deltax)/deltax deltax-->0. The three main steps to remember in doing this is expand cancel and factor out. We also learned to knew formulas, the product rule and quotient rule
-Product Rule:
( copy first equation ) ( derivative of the second equation ) - ( copy second equation ) ( derivative of first equation )
-Quotient Rule:
bottom ) ( top derivative ) - [( top ) ( bottom derivative )] / ( bottom equation squared )
